About April
I am a mental health professional with experience in behavioral health, substance use and recovery, behavioral supports, crisis intervention, and community-based services. I work with adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, emotional and behavioral challenges, substance use concerns, recovery, and personal growth. I bring a person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach to treatment, incorporating cognitive behavioral strategies, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused interventions, psychoeducation, and practical skill development.
My diverse professional background allows me to understand the connection between mental health, relationships, environment, physical wellness, and everyday life challenges. I strive to create a supportive, collaborative therapeutic environment where clients can identify their strengths, develop practical tools, and work toward meaningful and sustainable change.
